L. E. Smith # 525 Mount Pleasant Bowl
Smith's #525, made in amber for only 1 year in 1960. It is 3" tall by 6" across the top.

In his book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company, the First Hundred Years" , Tom Felt says that Mount Pleasant is not really a single pattern but several line numbers which were produced in the 1930s that have been grouped into this pattern name by collectors. Those line numbers are 81, 200, 505,515, 410 ,600, 635, 2000. Line 525 is used to designate footed items. It is found with several different surfact treatments (hobnail, smooth, opalescent).
