Unknown Candy
The base is 5 3/8" tall with a 5 3/4" opening. The glass at the top of the bowl is ground. The foot is 3 1/2". The top is 5" tall. With the top on the jar, the total height is 9 3/4". There appears to be a controlled bubble in the ball above the foot. The bubble has a teardrop shape.

Rocky Mueller, a candy jar collector, believes the jar is European and probably Italian.
