There is some conflict in the literature on the name of this pattern. In some sources, although it is numbered #134xx, it is called Old English and in others Olive.
It also resembles Paden City's Popeye and Olive pattern. Imperial's Olive pattern always has a reeded pattern near the base and Paden City's Popeye and Olive pattern has a very differently shaped creamer.
In a January, 1939 Butler Bros. catalog ad shown on p. 125 in "Ruby Glass of the 20th Century" by Naomi L. Over, it is called Old English. In "Imperial Glass Encyclopedia Vol. III (m-z)" by the National Imperial Glass Collectors Society (edited by James Measell), however, it is listed as #134 and called Olive (p. 530-531).
