Lighting Bowl; Lampshade (1936-1937?), for ceiling. Patent # 104,222, received 4-20-37. Willard Kolb, glass researcher, says it is a 12 inch light shade made for Mid-West Chandelier Company and that the mould later was used for many other Candlewick pieces. Reported: with three holes for hanging with chain."11 1/2 inches across. Clear glass, but it has a light coating of white paint on the inside, to give it a frosted look. It looks like baked on or fired on paint.
