Fenton Line 1502A (the A stands for alternate shaped handle) Diamond Optic. The tray is 10" across, the handle is 4 1/4" tall from the surface of the plate. An identical tray is shown in Fenton Glass The First Twenty-Five Years by William Heacock on page 68. Heacock indicates the original line number 1502 Diamond Optic handle is loop shaped.
The Diamond Optic Pattern was produced from 1927-1938, and can be found in black, jade, green, rose, aqua, royal blue, ruby, orchid, tangerine, crystal and moonstone. It is assumed this tray could be found in any of those colors. |
