Blue Satin Smith # 840E covered flowers & bird box in blue satin, made from 1981-1985. They also made it in crystal satin and pink satin.
This box appears to be a reproduction of a Barolac piece named Spring which was produced in opalescent and frosted glass in the 1930's. Barolac pieces are usually signed.
