Duncan & Miller # 75 Whitney Mugs
5 1/8-in. tall, Whitney pattern, 1933, raised panel, polished bottom..

From from "The Years of Duncan 1865-1955" by Gail Krause:

"WHITNEY: introduced in 1933 and was named for one of their salesman. It had a very masculine appearance, sturdy and heavy without bulkiness. There are six wide panels encircling the entire middle of the mug and the bottom has the same number of sides forming the base. The hand applied handles available in cobalt blue, ruby, amber and green. Stemware, footed and regular tumblers, as well as other items for table service are available in crystal."

As shown in a 1943 catalog in the Weatherman book, Duncan & Miller also designated their Diamond pattern as # 75.
