Vase is identified as a 12" #402 in "Fine Handmade Table Glassware by Cambridge" which was produced for the Cambridge club. It has 613 pages and is dated 1940. There is a smaller version of this vase, 8" #782.
The molded in design has the same characteristics as the 3400 Ball shaped line, which is characterized by the molded inverted "V" on the base. Color is Crown Tuscan. It may be found in many of Cambridge's transparent colors, Ebony and Crown Tuscan. It may also be found plain or etched.
The vase was also produced plain without the inverted "v" or darts on it. An example is shown in the gallery.
