Fostoria #5283 Stem

Fostoria #5283 Stem
Goblet holds 9 ounces. This stem shape was also done with a regular and a loop optic. Colors found are crystal, green and crystal with a green, amber or blue base.

The stem is identified as #5083 when it is done in only one color and as #5283 when it is bicolored.
Reference for this numbering pattern can be found in Weatherman's "Fostoria its First Fifty Years," on page 137 or page 195 you will note solid-color pieces have Line numbers with a "0" for the second digit. Bi-color items have a "2" for the second digit. There are a few exceptions where a "1" was used instead of a "2."
