Bournique Candlewick-Lookalike Vase in Caramel Slag
Vase is 10-1/2 inches tall. This Candlewick Lookalike slag vase was made by Bournique Glass Company of Kokomo, IN.

The Bournique company was in operation from 1907 until 1926. The company primarily made stained glass in sheet form. They did venture into lampshades. These vases were also a product of the company. There is a book about the founder of the company, Gaffer Bourniqe. It is called "Shades of Glass; Gaffer Bournique's Journey to Indiana".

This vase appeared in Butler Brothers Wholesale Catalogs during the 1905-1915 era, in a variety of Slag colors, as the "Marbre" assortment.
