Per Robert Carlson: "In my opinion four of these pieces are NM. The candlesticks are definitely not PC 701. For example, you can see an Eden Rose 701 stick in Carrie Domitz's book, page 88. It has a fairly conventional octagonal rim, quite unlike the eight protruding 'lobes' on your blue stick. I have discovered that NM made a scalloped edge pattern - have one of their center handled trays with a scalloped rim, also more pieces like it. I feel this '8-lobed' stick was designed to go with this pattern, though it also goes with their common octagonal pattern. I feel your bowl and mayo comport are NM octagon. Again, I have a number of pieces. One of the characteristics of their regular Octagon is that it has 'protrusions' at the points, like little 'fingertips' jutting out. They're not the only company to do this, but they did it more often than most companies did."
