This is the smaller Serenade mug. According to "Greentown Glass: A Collector's Guide", this was "surely"...that's the word used...made by McKee in custard, opaque blue and the opaque green you have. They would have been made in the early 1900's. Shards of this mug in crystal, amber, cobalt, green and chocolate have been found at the Indiana Tumber & Goblet factory site in Greentown too. So, this was a mold that was probably shared among members of the National Glass Combine.
Because of the shards found at the Indiana site, we are not completely sure that this one was made only by McKee.
There is a German inscription on the base of the mug which reads: ..."Massig trinken Leider Singen Half von Je zu guten Dingen"...Social drinking and ballad singing surely give us a good time.
