L. E. Smith # 505 Mount Pleasant Salt & Pepper Shakers
These shakers are part of the "Mount Pleasant" group of patterns, even though they don't have the shields or any of the other design characteristics of those patterns.

According to Tom Felt, in his book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company, the First Hundred Years" , Mount Pleasant is not really a single pattern but several line numbers which were produced in the 1930s that have been grouped into this pattern name by collectors. Those line numbers are 81, 200, 505,515, 410 ,600, 635, 2000.
