Indiana #1007 Lamp Conversion
Made from a candlestick. All of Indiana's 1000 series patterns were made from very high quality glass.

"Pattern 1007 is one of those lines that appeared sometime in the late 1930s or early 1940s. The company didn’t name it until 1980, by which time only the footed comport was still in production, described as Lotus Blossom. Although not especially appropriate for the majority of the pattern, this name has gained acceptance today. Some collectors also refer to the comport as Tulip... The 1007 line was originally made only in crystal, crystal etched, or crystal with ruby stain. Other pieces have also been found with amber and blue stains. The majority of the pattern was probably discontinued in the late 1940s or early 1950s, though a few items remained in production until as late as 1982... In 1957, a few pieces were reissued in milk glass." - Indiana Glass Society Newsletter, December 2005, Author: Tom Felt.
