Lamp was identified based on the shade which was made by L. E. Smith according to the book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company The First One Hundred Years" by Tom Felt
Tom Felt recently found books from the Flint Glass Workers archives containing drawings of items submitted by various locals for wage and turns to be determined with this lamp in it. It was submitted by the local in Mount Pleasant. So the Smith attribution is confirmed. The shade is shown in this AFGWU drawing.
