Paden City Line # 1503 double handle relish in black glass. Line # 1503 was named “Trance†by H.M. Weatherman.
The dish is about 2 inches high. It is 6 inches in diameter without handles (7.25 inches with handles).
The underbase has a .25†wide ground and polished ring that is 3.125†diameter to outer edge.
The bowl's edges are trimmed in gold. The gold decoration is a fine painted design similar to a stencil design. According to the book Paden City by Barnett p. 56, the gold decoration was not done by Paden City.
