Sherdley Glass, a British firm, made in the early 30's. It is a hexagonal pressed piece in very dark amber with a registration number RD810280.
It is 9 ½ “ diameter across the hex sides and 5†in height and was made in flint glass. This is true flint glass; despite the size and weight of the bowl, it rings like a bell.
UGB (United Glass Bottle Co) owned Sherdley Glass. The pattern number is P262. The bowl was exclusively marketed and distributed by Johnson & Jorgensen Ltd. in 1932.
