Top: Old crystal Gadroon candy and lid with Lorna etch. Note how the handles are angled upward. This feature indicates that this is authentic and not a repro. Photo courtesy of Janice & Jo Feehan.
Bottom: Cobalt reproduction Gadroon candy. Note how the handles are flat rather than angled. The gold encrusted etching is Gold Corsage by Lotus. Photo courtesy of Mary Czech.
Some of these reproduced candies have been found accompanied by a letter from one of the owners of Summit Art Glass, Joann Vogelsong, saying that the candies were made in limited quantities.
