This royal blue compote is 4-3/4" tall and 6-7/8" in diameter. Initial identification in 2010 was based on a Fry #14 stem in replacements.com and is shown in Felt & Girard Encyclopedia of Cobalt Glass," 2009, p. 93. This compote and stem #14 are not shown in the Encyclopedia of Fry Glass, 1990.
Recent posts in the Fry group on FaceBook by a number of experts conclude that this compote was not made by Fry.
