Duncan & Miller # 91 Low Compote w/ Unknown Decoration
This octagonal compote is about 4" tall and 6" wide at the top, with the round base about 3-1/2'"across.
The painted decoration resembles some of the Wheeling decorations; Wheeling did provide decorations on this bowl for Duncan, but no documentation was found for this blue and gold decoration. The bowl with another decoration is shown on the back cover of James Webster's book, Wheeling Decorating Company.
