The holders are aluminum and apparently were glued in, because they won't stay any other way. They stand 2" tall at the top of the handle. (Genuine Cambridge /Farber shakers stand between 2-3/4 and 3".) Screw lids are chromed and the glass is a bit wavy, but the amethyst color is not much off the Cambridge.
