The bowl is 8-3/4" across, 3" tall. The pink color is very clear with no orange cast. There are 4 rows of alternating convex "fishscales" with the balance of the sides being narrow ribbed.
The base is ribbed as well but is not a carryover from the ribbing on the sides (there is a break between the rib patterns in the form of a shallow plain marie / ring.
Florence lists this size as a vegetable bowl but does not list pink in his 2006 Fire-King and More book. The listed colors are crystal,Vitrock and Vitrock trimmed with blue, red or green, and Lustre and gives production dates of 1939-1943 and 1963-1965.
