Houze Glass Company made these Rocker Blotters beginning in 1931. They are marked with "Thew-31" for the designer and date, as shown in the enlarged picture*. The elephants and donkeys were made for the Republican and Democratic Parties.
Known colors are jade green, yellow, lavender, black, clambroth, and possibly others.
