Heisey #4230, 4231 Favor Vases
Pattern numbers are below the vases , they just need the number 42 before each one.
These little guys are only 3" tall and come in 6 patterns, 5 colors and crystal.  They are scarce to rare.  Dunbar Glass made ones identical in shape and size, but the Heisey ones differ in that they are somewhat heavier and have a diamond optic.  The following picture shows one in each shape and color.  The colors, left to right, are Tangerine, Sahara, Moongleam, Cobalt, Flamingo and Crystal.  The last two digits of the pattern numbers are shown.  The first two digits are 42, so the pattern numbers are 4227, 4228, etc.  The shadow cast by 4231 shows the diamond optic effect.  This is obtained by varying the interior thickness of the glass, and the variation of thickness can be felt by inserting a finger and feeling the interior.  Prices range from $60 to $800 depending on the color.  Tangerine is the rarest.  These were marked with a Heisey sticker, but most have lost the sticker and will not bear any mark.  But they are easy to identify because of the size and the diamond optic.  The darker Tangerine and Cobalt ones may require holding up to a good light source to see the optic.
