The etch is shown in the 1934 Cambridge Catalogue. According to Volume I of Etchings by Cambridge, it was also sold in 1956 as D/Moon.
We believe the two Pristine shakers shown above are examples of both renditions. The shaker and close up on the thumbnail were contributed by Mike Horine who bought the shaker for the Kirkland Museum in Colorado. That shaker, which has a lot more bubbles, is 11.5 inches tall.
The other Pristine shaker is also 11.5 inches tall and doesn't have nearly as many bubbles. We think it may be an example of the 1956 interpretation of this etch that was called D/Moon. Janice and Joe Feehan contributed the picture of this shaker.
