According to Tom Felt, "this vase was made by the L. E. Smith company for Tiara Exclusives, as part of the Marquis collection in 1989.
Tiara began as a subsidiary of Indiana Glass Company and often utilized old Indiana moulds, though by the 1980s, the glass was usually made by other companies, in this case, the L. E. Smith Glass Company. The original Indiana pattern is No. 303, introduced circa 1936."
