Receptacle has "REX" molded into the bottom. The The Rex mark on the bottom is a religious emblem which indicates the votive was made for religious use and does not indicate a brand name. The piece is a 10 1/4'' tall Devotional and Sanctuary lamp
There was a company in Syracuse N. Y. called Rex which made heat resistant glass. However, we have some votive candle holders in the gallery which look like the same color with the same mark that have been documented as Akro Agate.
