Moroccan Amethyst was manufactured under the name "Hazelware" after Hazel Atlas was purchased by Continental Can in the 1960's. Several different shapes of items are found; round, octagonal, rectangular and many others. Moroccan Amethyst refers to the color, not the pattern(s).
