Imperial Aurora Jewels Diamond Band Toothpick
Measures 2 1/8 inches in diameter and about 2 1/8 inches high.

Souvenir piece for the American Carnival Glass Association (ACGA) embossed on the bottom, "5th Anniversary ACGA 1971 Cincinnati."

Imperial's Aurora Jewels collection was introduced around July 1970 following the initial market acceptance of their re-issues of Carnival glass in the mid-1960's. The line was comprised of about two dozen pieces. Imperial used some of its old moulds for this line, but they also use moulds from Cambridge and Heisey. The line was featured in the 1971 Imperial catalog, and most of the pieces were made until April, 1972, when the line was discontinued.
