According to Weatherman, in he "Colored Glass of the Depression Era, Book 2", this pitcher was sold with a set of six glasses as a water set. The listing says they were made in green and crystal in 1928. More than likely the pink ones were made another year.
Federal also made a #171 pitcher which looks the same except it has an ice lip.
