Unknown Paneled Bowl and Plate
The glass is high-quality and the rims are ground. They have the look of Heisey Flat Panel, but in "Collector's Guide to Heisey Glassware", the only two items with scalloped edges are a couple of trays. Other companies making paneled or colonial style patterns are:

Cambridge (#2800),Central, Duncan, Indiana (#253 or 258), Jefferson, McKee, Ohio Flint, Paden City (#205 and #402), Westmoreland and U.S. Glass (#15145).

The bowl is 4 3/4 diameter, 1 1/2" high, and the bottom rim is 2 7/8" diameter. The lip of the bowl is 5/16" thick, measured on an axis perpendicular to the plane of the panel. The plate is 6 7/8" diameter, 7/8" high, and the bottom rim is 3 1/2" diameter. The lip is 3/8" thick measured on an axis perpendicular to the plane of the panel.

It has been determined that the pieces are not Indiana #253 because this bowl has 12 panels while the #253 pieces have 10 panels. McKee's colonial pattern is a six sided star so we can also cross them off the list of possibilities too. Westmoreland is also ruled out because the rays in the middle of the plate form a subtle octagon, not hexagon like the Westmoreland pieces. Heisey's Puritan,Kalonyal. and Old Williamsburg patterns have what looks like a flat area between the panel and the rim which the pictured bowl does not have so they can be discounted as well.

Unfortunately most of the photos and drawings found of the other patterns do not include a view of the inside. This precludes a comparison of the rays or star burst patterns (if any) which have been proven to be invalubable in eliminating some of the patterns/companies listed above.

Please post on the discussion board if you have anymore identifying information on these colonial type patterns.
