Pattern was produced in the 1880s by Ripley & Company which was known as Factory F in the U. S. Glass system of merged companies.
The etching was done with a sandblasting technique. During the depression era, plate etchings were used and that new process enabled the artist to create more elaborate designs with much more detail.
