According to Craig Schenning, author of "A Century of Indiana Glass" this covered compote is indeed Indiana. It was sort of an afterthought with regards to the Harvest pattern. It was not originally offered when the pattern began production in the late 1950s. You can find it in a variety of colors, including iridescent blue, iridescent green, milk white, olive green, amber, etc... They were made from the the late 1960s through the entire 1970s. Lots of folks use the lace edge as a spoon holder although, I'm not sure if that was its original purpose.
