Steuben Vase from Frederick Carder Era
Topaz vase with Flemish Blue trim is10.25 inches tall and 3.125 inches wide with a base that is 4.75inches wide. Vase is not marked and has a ground and polished pontil which is 1.375 inches in diameter. The vase weighs 648 grams.


The Flemish blue rings are located the lip edge and at the widest section of the shaped neck. Vase has
two rows of Flemish Blue applied scroll punts. Each row consists of four punts positioned off-set to the other. These rows are located between the rings at the shaped neck and on the upper shaft. A continuous spiraling coil in Flemish Blue has been applied at the lower shaft where the body flaresinto the base.
