Most Peerless is #300 and #300 1/2. Peerless is the first of Heisey's well-known Colonial patterns. First made in 1899, by 1944 only a few pieces were still in production. Most pieces are marked. Crystal, with some pieces in rare colors. The base "petticoat" is distinctive, bearing a series of small grooves. Some items were continues as part of the 341 Old Williamsburg line.
Some pieces may bear the English Registry number 350676.
Tygart Valley Glass Co. made similar pieces, but they're of inferior glass quality.
