Heisey Empress #1401 was produced 1930-1938. A major tableware line which was widely used for Heisey etchings and cuttings. Originally called "Lilies of France" it can be identified by its embossed fan and series of beads. Made in Crystal, Moongleam, Flamingo, Sahara, Alexandrite, Tangerine, and Cobalt.

Most of the items are marked with the "Diamond H" On dolphin footed items, look carefully on the inside leg.

After 1938, Heisey re-worked a number of the molds giving them an internal optic and then declared them to be a new pattern called Queen Ann (#1509) which they only produced in Crystal.
