Hocking Manhattan
Hocking Manhattan

Hocking Manhattan
Made in 1938-1943; aka "Horizontal Ribbed." Made in crystal, pink and some green, ruby and iridized pieces. Not all the Manhattan pieces were made in pink, nor is pink as common as crystal. I've never even seen cups, saucers, any kind of plate, relish tray, candlesticks or the 80 oz. tilted pitcher in pink.

Shown here are the comport, tumbler, sherbet, fruit bowl, cream, sugar, handled berry bowl, relish tray inserts, and the little square salt and pepper. Not shown is the 3-legged candy dish "go-with". It is listed in Ellen Schroy, Warman's Depression Glass, 2nd ed., Krause Publications, 2000.
