Previously described as "Reverse ruby on satin milk glass."
This flared vase is not milk glass; you can see that by looking at the edge. It is apparently an example of "Sculptured Chipped Ice," which is characterized by Jack Wilson, Phoenix & Consolidated Art Glass...,, p. 182 as an "unusual" finish. Ruby color was applied to the raised pattern on the exterior of the crystal glass. Then the entire exterior was coated with a finish that looked like chipped ice.
