Label is 2 3/4 " wide and the design is embssed onto the label.
Heisey Glass 1896-1957 by Neila & Tom Bredehoft - pg. 8 shows a picture of this label with the caption "Original Heisey label". No date is given, but Heisey did not begin to use the Diamond H (which is included on the label) until late 1900. The Diamond H logo was patented in 1901.
