This lamp had a shade with a ground edge that simply laid on the base, the base had a punch out hole for the socket supported with a washer. Because of the design flaw of having the shade simply setting on the base, these were easily broken. The lamp is no longer owned by the photographer so exact measurements are not available but it is thought to be around 9" tall.
This is the only monkey lamp that this advanced Cambridge collector has ever seen.
