Indiana made this design from 1918-1929 in crystal with fired on colors of blue, canary, jade, and orange, all with black trim. They were identified as Wedgewood, # 4 at Indiana. These candlesticks were 8 1/8 inches tall.
These hand pressed pieces were reissued by Tiara as Duchess, # 1009 in the horizon blue color shown. Reissues were done in the 1980s. Later, cobalt was also done for Tiara.The reissues were reportedly done by Fostoria. The reissues are 8 3/8 inches tall because the top rim is thicker.
The Duchess candlesticks have also been seen in pink and crystal with amethyst stain.
