This style is known to have been made in ebony, Ivory, and Azurite. Some colors were decorated with a coin gold encrusted band or border.
The gold encrusted border on the Ebony vase is variant 2 of Cambridge's 527 Rose deocration which is also found on Cambridge stemware. This decoration is dated to 1927 in the "Etchings by Cambridge, Vol 1" Brookville Publishing Company.
