L. E. Smith # 600 Mount Pleasant Duo Candlestick
According to Tom Felt, this candlestick was made from 1935 to 1938. It was also made from 1931 to 1934 but the curliques on the sides of the candlecups had a slightly different form during that time period.

The candlesticks are also found in rose, green, black, as well as the cobalt shown.

These candlesticks are considered part of the Mount Pleasant line because of the presence of the double shield.

In his book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company, the First Hundred Years" , Tom Felt says that Mount Pleasant is not really a single pattern but several line numbers which were produced in the 1930s that have been grouped into this pattern name by collectors. Those line numbers are 81, 200, 505,515, 410 ,600, 635, 2000.
