Three toed rose / ivy floral bowl shown in amber. Smith's #525 was made in amber for only one year in 1960.

Per Tom Felt: Although there is no evidence that they were making amber when the no. 525 milk glass cupped bowls were in production, I found a marigold carnival example in the Smith archives, which I am guessing was probably made from the old mold in the 1960s when Smith started experimenting with carnival finishes.

Tom Felt also told us that Smith did several different surface treatments to their glass in the 525 line. The 525 line pieces all have the 3 pegged feet.

According to Tom Felt, in his book, "L. E. Smith Glass Company, the First Hundred Years" , Mount Pleasant is not really a single pattern but several line numbers which were produced in the 1930s that have been grouped into this pattern name by collectors. Those line numbers are 81, 200, 505,515, 410 ,600, 635, 2000.
