English hobnail was made in opal, rose, turquoise, belgian blue, cobalt, milk, amber, red, green and crystal. Jadite, black and ruby are also found but not very often. The pattern was produced from 1925 to 1980. Some of their advertising also referred to the pattern as Early American.
It is often confused with Miss America. English Hobnail has uneven rays on the sunburst and Miss America has uniform rays. |
