Flower has 6 petals and there are 3 small dots to the lower left of the flower.
Without further documentation, this etch is classified as unknown. Forum discussions raised the possibility that this etch was Cambridge D619. However, Cambridge D619 (top line drawing) found on page 40 of Cambridge etches V1, shows 8 petals and one dot.
The D619 dates to 1917 and carried into the late 20s. The etch book shows two versions. One version (the top one) is so faded and misshapen that it is difficult to count the number of petals. One flower clearly has 8, the others look close enough to 8.
The second (the bottom one) has both a six-petal flower and a line of eight-petal flowers within the treatment.
So, there were two different treatments. Again, it's best that you look at the blank as well as the border treatment; that's what dedicated Cambridge collectors do.
