The pink butter dish and cover is one of the rarer pieces in this pattern and has been reproduced. There are three things to check to assure the piece is original:
The stem to the knob on the cover is longer on the repro
Feel inside the lid for the start of the stem - if concave (curved in) it's old, convex (curved out or a bump) it's new.
Look into the cover from underneath, you should see a perfect multi-sided star when looking inside towards the knob. Distorted rays with no visible points means repro.
