Phillip Hopper shows this pitcher on page 50 in his book, "Anchor Hocking Decorated Pitchers and Glasses: The Depression Years". He says it is unnamed in the catalogs he found it in and only identified as # 687, 80 ounce pitcher made in green, crystal, and pink.
The pitcher shown holds approx. 90 oz to the brim.
To add to the confusion, page 191 of the 5th edition of "Mauzy 's Depression Glass" by Barbara Mauzy also shows this pitcher as Pillar Optic and lists the pattern as Hocking, 1930s.
Florence shows a very similar pitcher in his 18th edition of "Collector's Encyclopedia of Depression Glass" as Pillar Optic but this pitcher we show doesn't have the horizontal rings at the top as the one shown on p. 177 of his book.
