Unknown Glassware Catalog March/April 1930
From a G. Sommers & Co. catalog dated March-April 1930, an assortment labeled Wacouta Fine Glassware. I'm assuming this was the decorating company that did the engraving, but if so, it must have been one that worked exclusively for Sommers, since there is a GSCo. logo above the name.

I haven't tried to research the blanks, yet, but my first guess would be Lancaster -- in which case, the engraving might have been done by Standard.

Another member said that G. Sommers & Co. was a major catalog retailer only (not a manufacturer) , based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He guessed that the name Wacouta is for nearby Wacouta, Minnesota, where they may have had a cutting/decorating firm set up and like many other companies had their main offices in the nearby larger city. Seems they may have been a Princess House type of company.
