Update 051919:
After comparing many Cube sets, Shelly Yergensen has concluded that this set was made by Jeannette. "The red stained S&C sets have the wide ring in the base which means they were made by Jeannette. Pilgrim did the red stain decoration. Jeannette also made the tray but Pilgrim did not stain this tray. The tray was actually painted. It took me some time to figure out the difference between paint and stain."
